COVID -19 and Highland Events REFUND Policy

The rules around hosting events around COVID-19 around all levels are continually changing. For this reason it is increasingly difficult to plan how we can manage future (COVID impacted) events.

In saying this - we are still committed to bringing you awesome events, in awesome country - while still having fun ourselves.

We just need some extra rules and procedures around the process.

Highland Events Refund Policy

COVID-19 Refund Policy

Should NZ be in COVID-19 Level 4, or 3:

  • If we can postpone the event, we will!

  • If we cannot postpone the event (or if it has been postponed once before already) the event will be cancelled and an event credit (to do any Highland Events event in the next 12 months, up to and including this event next year) will be issued.

If the event is postponed and you can’t make the new event date, your options are

  1. An event credit

  2. An 80% refund on your event entry

If the event is cancelled, your options are

  1. An event credit (credit given will depend on the amount of lead time we have between government lockdown announcement and the original event date)

  2. An event refund (refund given will depend on the amount of lead time we have between government lockdown announcement and the original event date)

Event credit – credit given will depend on the amount of lead time we have between government lockdown announcement and the original event date:

  • Greater than 2 weeks’ notice – 100% event credit

  • Less than 2 weeks’ notice – 80% event credit

Event refund - refund given will depend on the amount of lead time we have between government lockdown announcement and the original event date

  • Greater than 2 weeks’ notice – 80% refund

  • Less than 2 weeks’ notice – 50% refund

General Refund Policy

Event credit – credit given will depend on the amount of time between when you contact us to inform us you can no longer compete and the Event Date.

  • Greater than 2 weeks’ notice – 100% event credit

  • 2 weeks’ notice – 80% event credit

Event refund - refund given will depend on the amount of time between when you contact us to inform us you can no longer compete and the Event Date.

  • Greater than 2 weeks’ notice – 80% refund

  • 2 weeks’ notice – 50% refund

  • Within 5 days before event there is NO refund and NO credit to future events - costs for the event and your entry have already been incurred.

    NOTE: - An Event Credit = to do any Highland Events event in the next 12 months, up to and including this event next year
